Training sessions in Maine

About 60 US contractors are already trained to the ÖkoFEN system

One of the most important lessons ÖkoFEN learned, out of its export efforts in Europe is, that it takes well trained and convinced contractors in the field to build up a market. Due to that experience contractor training is the current focus of ÖkoFENs US activities. “We want to make sure that there are enough people out there who know our product very well and feel comfortabel installing it” says ÖkoFEN CEO Herbert Ortner, who is doing most of the training in Bethel, Maine.

Practical training on the ÖkoFEN Pellematic system

Four sessions, with two days of trainings each, already have been held and more will follow soon. About 40 professionals have learned a lot about wood pellets, wood combustion technology as well as about the features of the ÖkoFEN system.

The training sessions are organized by Maine Energy Systems (MESys) which is ÖkoFENs distribution partner for the Northeastern United States. MESys is also providing the facility for these trainings including some ÖkoFEN boilers and other training equipment. For further information about contractor trainings and class enrolment please call Mike Broderick at MESys (207)824-6749.
